NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Election of member of the Statutory Audit Committee

Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A., according to article 30, item XXX of CVM Instruction 480/09, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, on December 22, 2021, the Central Bank of Brazil ratified the election of members of the Audit Committee, whose terms of office will expire on the date on which those elected by a Board of Directors’ Meeting in 2024 take office.

The following candidates were elected for the Committee:

CORINTO LUCCA ARRUDA – Coordinator and Qualified Member

• Administrator;
• Master in Controllership and Finances;
• Corporate Risk Superintendent (B3 – Brasil, Bolsa e Balcão) – from May 2012 to January 2021;
• Member of the Corporate Risk Management Commission of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC) – since October 2017;
• Member of the Corporate Risk Management Work Group WFE (The World Federation of Exchanges) – from March 2019 to November 2020;
• Member of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC) – since 2017;
• Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) – since 2011.

LUIZ CARLOS SPAZIANI – Member

• Engineer;
• Master in Economics;
• Risk and Compliance Manager of Cooperativa de Crédito Votuporanga – since July 2020;
• Analyst, Mid-Advisor, Coordinator, Head of Division, and Deputy Head of Department of the Central Bank of Brazil – Worked at the Institutional Relationship Department of the Central Bank of Brazil – from February 1998 to December 2019;
• University Professor in the areas of Engineering, Costs, Corporate Governance, Tax Audit, Finances, and Economics.
