Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A. – BANESE, a multiple bank incorporated as a stock corporation mixed, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that at June 9, 2020, Mr. Fernando Soares da Mota, current CEO and member of the Company’s Board of Directors, communicated to the Governor of the State of Sergipe its decision to end its operation as executive in Public Administration.

As disclosed by the Governor of the State of Sergipe, Mr. Belivaldo Chagas, through his personal Twitter account at 6:11 p.m. of June 9, will be submitted to the Board of Directors and other governing bodies of the Bank Mr. Ademário Alves de Jesus, the current Executive Superintendent of the Bank General Secretariat of Government, to assume the position of Director President of BANESE.

Once BANESE Administration has been communicated officially of the decisions, the measures will be taken necessary for the succession of the Presidency of the Company, with the subsequent forwarding for approval by the Central Bank of Brazil – BACEN.
