1. How can I know the number of shares I hold?

Go to a Banese branch, or to our Investor Relations Area – ARINV, located at Centro Administrativo Banese, Rua Olímpio de Souza Campos Júnior, No. 31, Bairro Inácio Barbosa, Aracaju, State of Sergipe, and present the following documents:

Individuals: Identity card, CPF [Individual Taxpayer’s Register], and Proof or Declaration of Residence.

Legal Entities: Notarized Articles of Association and the latest contractual amendment, and Identity card, CPF, and Proof or Declaration of Residence.

Proxy: the power of attorney must be drawn up at a Notary Office, granting specific powers and indicating the shareholder’s name and CPF/CNPJ [Corporate Taxpayer’s Register]. Powers of attorney issued in locations other than those in which they are presented, must bear a notary public signature and seal.

Shareholders living outside the State may email certified copies of their personal documentation (Identity card, CPF, and Proof or Declaration of Residence) to arinv.funcionarios@banese.com.br

2. How can I know the value of Banese shares?

To know the quotation of Banese shares, access the website of B3 S.A. Bolsa, Brasil, Balcão (http://www.bmfbovespa.com.br/pt_br/servicos/market-data/cotacoes/), and enter the code “BGIP3” for ON, and “BGIP4” for PN.

3. How can I sell or transfer my Banese shares?

Regarding shares held with Banese Depositary Institution, the bank will only handle the transfer of the shares. In this case, the shareholder and the buyer should go to our Investor Relations Area – ARINV, located at the Centro Administrativo Banese, Rua Olímpio de Souza Campos Júnior, No. 31, Bairro Inácio Barbosa, Aracaju, State of Sergipe, and present certified copies of the Identity card, CPF, and Proof or Declaration of Residence, in order to transfer the shares.

If the shareholder wants to transfer the shares held in custody with Banese to B3 S.A. Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão, this transaction must be handled by a Securities Broker, and certified copies of the Identity card, CPF, or Proof or Declaration of Residence, and original copy of the power of attorney with the shareholder’s certified signature will be required.

4. How can I know about the equity interest held by a deceased relative that was a shareholder?

The heir or legal representative should go to our Investor Relations Area – ARINV, located at the Centro Administrativo Banese, Rua Olímpio de Souza Campos Júnior, No. 31, Bairro Inácio Barbosa, Aracaju, State of Sergipe, and present certified copies of their personal documents (Identity card, CPF, and Proof of Residence), as well as the document that qualifies him/her as representative of the estate (court permit, public deed of partition, final judgement of distribution or the like) and the documents of the deceased shareholder (Identity card, CPF, Proof of Residence and death certificate).

5. My company held shares in Banese, but its CNPJ was cancelled. What should I do?

The legal representative of the company must present the rescission document or the like, informing how the company’s assets and liabilities will be represented after its closure. Bearing this document, as well as the documentation supporting the cancellation of the CNPJ, and the legal representative’s documents, go to our Investor Relations Area – ARINV, located at Centro Administrativo Banese, Rua Olímpio de Souza Campos Júnior, No. 31, Bairro Inácio Barbosa, Aracaju, State of Sergipe, so that earnings can be transferred to the beneficiary.

6. How can I update my registration data?

Shareholders living in Aracaju, Sergipe, should go to one of our branches or to our Investor Relations Area – ARINV, located at Centro Administrativo Banese, Rua Olímpio de Souza Campos Júnior, No. 31, Bairro Inácio Barbosa, Aracaju, State of Sergipe, bearing his/her personal documents and certified copies (Identity card, CPF, and Proof of Residence).

Shareholders living outside the State must contact the Securities Broker responsible for the custody of their shares to update their record data. If shares are held in custody by the Banese Depositary Institution, shareholders may email a certified copy of their personal documents (Identity card, CPF, and Proof of Residence) to arinv.funcionarios@banese.com.br.

7. How can I receive my Earnings Report for purposes of Income Tax Return?

The Earnings Report is sent annually through the Post Office. If you have not received it, please go to a Banese branch, or our Investor Relations Area – ARINV, located at Centro Administrativo Banese, Rua Olímpio de Souza Campos Júnior, No. 31, Bairro Inácio Barbosa, Aracaju, State of Sergipe, and present your Identity card and CPF.

Shareholders living outside the State of Sergipe should e-mail a request attaching certified copies of their Identity card, CPF, and Proof or Declaration of Residence.

The most common reason for not receiving the Earnings Report is an outdated address. So, whenever your address changes, please request its update to your Securities Broker or, if your shares are held with the Banese Depositary Institution, go to a Banese branch and show your updated proof of residence and personal documents.

8. How can I receive Interest on Shareholder’s Equity and/or Dividends to which I am entitled regarding the shares held in BANESE?

Shareholders must keep their record data updated. Should there be any doubt, or if your address changes, you can go to any Banese branch, irrespective of being an accountholder.

9. How can I know the dates of disclosure of Banese financial information?

It is Banese’s policy to disclose its earnings as soon as possible, strictly within the terms legally determined. The history of notices and the complete financial statements are available at the Investor Relations section. Estimated dates of disclosure of future financial statements are included in the field Agenda.
