Notice to the Market – Retirement Incentive Plan (RIP)

NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A. – BANESE (“Company”), a multiple bank and a state-owned corporation, pursuant to Law 6,404, of December 15, 1976, as amended, and regulations issued by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (“CVM”), hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that its Board of Directors approved, at a meeting held today, the proposal for the voluntary departure of employees, called Retirement Incentive Plan – RIP (Plano de Estimulo a Aposentadoria – PEA).

The Plan will be submitted for analysis and appreciation by the union that represents the Company’s employees.

If the Plan is approved, Banese will take the next necessary steps to implement it.

BANESE will keep its shareholders and the market informed of any new facts concerning the matter in question.
