NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A. – BANESE, a multiple bank and a state-owned corporation, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that Mrs. Olga Maria dos Santos Carvalhaes, Credit and Services Officer, decided to end her executive career in Public Administration and submitted, on this date, a letter of resignation as Officer of the Company’s Executive Board.

Mrs. Léa Selmara Almeida de Matos, an Administrative Officer at Banese, will temporarily fill the vacant position until a new Credit and Services Officer takes office.
