MATERIAL FACT

Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A. (“BANESE” or “Company”), in compliance with article 157, paragraph 4 of Law 6404 of December 15, 1976 (Brazilian Corporation Law) and the regulations of the Brazilian Securities Commission (“CVM”), especially CVM Instruction 358 of January 3, 2002, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on this date, was approved the postponement of the payment of Interest on Equity, attributed to the minimum mandatory dividends, related to the first half of 2020, postponing its fully payment to the end of the 2020 fiscal year.

Under the terms of the applicable legislation, the Company informs that it will maintain its shareholders and the market in general informed about any relevant act or fact related to its business.
