NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A. – Banese, a multiple bank incorporated as a mixed-economy corporation, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that the Company and SEAC – Sergipe Administradora de Cartões e Serviços Ltda, a company that belongs to the Banese conglomerate, entered into an agreement to comply with the arrangements for the payment of time deposits and postpaid bills with ELO SERVIÇOS S.A.

This agreement is intended to increase the acceptance of the Banesecard brand, enabling holders of debit and credit cards to use this payment instrument nationwide in the network of Elo-accredited establishments and internationally through the Discover and Dinners brands.

This Notice to the Market is intended solely for informative purposes, pursuant to the current legislation, and is available on the websites of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (www.cvm.gov.br) and Banese (www.banese.com.br).
